Tonight, Xtend Barre hosted a Ladies Night moving screening of the 2016 documentary Embrace. If you haven’t seen it or heard of it before, you need to watch it. This goes for both males and females. Taryn Brumfitt goes on a self love journey around the world talking to women about body image and how female bodies are portrayed in the media.
I really didn’t think I’d want/feel the need to blog about it BUT HERE WE ARE.
On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of attending the 25th season of Western Canada Fashion Week (WCFW) with my friend Aga, owner of Herbologie. I thought to myself, “yes, I will go to this and blog about all the fashion things!” only to realize, I know nothing about fashion. I love fashion, it’s the number one thing I pin on Pinterest which makes me basically a veteran in the Fashion World, right? I love Project Runway, especially the junior edition because it’s fun to see children
cry work hard at something they truly love and talk about how they don’t know who David Bowie is.
So, I thought I would write about some tips about going to a fashion show!
If you’re a blogger, you can and I would highly recommend doing, the following.
I am the worst blogger of all time. Well, that can’t be true. I’m sure there are worse bloggers than I, but man, I’m pretty shitty. It’s been a month since I’ve written anything. I think about my blog and it gives me a little anxiety because each day goes by and I’m like “remember when you promised you’d do better in 2017?” LOL silly girl sitting on a thrown of empty promises.
I love when my friends give me assignments. Being that I’m 29, this is pretty suitable. I was told to rip this shit apart. 30 Things Every Woman Should Know and Have. Sure, tell me more about what I should and shouldn’t know, stranger. I thought to myself, Christ, with that title, this should be good. I read the first two points and thought “meh, I guess, whatever” and then the third point struck the cord of Yes, I Will In Fact Blog About This.
Let’s get on with it!
